This is not the first example of joint work of German and Italian designers - last year, BMW and Zagato Atelier jointly built a conceptual Roadster platform Z4. The current draft was named the BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe and should be the embodiment of "pure elegance", as its creators describe.
According to the designers, the meaning of the project is to seamlessly combine modern luxury, fine Italian style and high power. No more than the little that speaking of teasers, not yet. However, judging by some of the reservations developers, BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe will get a new engine. The most powerful production version of the Gran Coupe (recall that the so-called sixth series cars with four-door body) equipped with a 4.4-litre V8, but in the case of Pininfarina creation focuses, obviously, on a V-shaped 12-cylinder engine.
