Mini Has Unveiled The Hot Hatchback

Became available the first information about the hatchback Mini John Cooper Works (JCW), the official premiere will be held in early 2015 at the auto show in Detroit. Relevant information was shared by the Australian edition of the "Caradvice".


New Mini JCW will be powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol turbo engine that develops 230 horsepower and 320 nm of peak torque. The engine will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, whereby the car will dial the first 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds. Optionally it will also be available 6-speed automatic transmission, with which the car will accelerate 0.2 seconds faster.


Externally Mini JCW will be different special aerodynamic body kit, consisting of other bumpers, skirts and rear spoiler. In the standard version of the car will be offered with 17-inch alloy wheels, but for a fee you'll get 18-inch wheels. Mini JCW will also get Brembo brakes and a simulated differential lock.


In the interior of the Mini JCW is worth noting three-spoke sports steering wheel, pedals, stainless steel, other dashboard and black seats, trimmed with Alcantara with red inserts.


It is expected that prices on Mini JCW will start at the level of 40 000 USD. The official price tag to a new product will be announced later.
