Ssangyong Introduced Xlv Concept
SsangYong brought to the Geneva motor show concept crossover XLV. 7 seater concept is a development of the idea of conceptual crossover XIV-1, introduced in 2011 in Frankfurt.
New name stands for "a fascinating and smart car for stylish living" (eXciting smart Lifestyle Vehicle. It's possible that this is a prototype of the next generation SUV Korando/Rodius. XLV looks very stylish, as befits the concept. A massive seven-seat SUV looks easy and fast, thanks to a painted black roof (actually containing the solar panels), originally jutting out into the silvery sides in the region of the rear pillars. If we exclude such extravagant items, such as hinged doors, the body of the concept looks fully prepared for the implementation into production.
Salon SsangYong XLV looks futuristic and has rich possibilities of transformation: secondary seat can be installed on the second or third row. And opening to 90 degrees, hinged doors for easier access to the third row of seats. The concept XLV received a hybrid setup consisting of a 1.6-liter diesel engine, electric motor and lithium-ion battery.
